Renee Barrett is overwhelmed by the fact that she is an average-looking woman in a word of genetically gifted individuals. Her self confidence is at a low, but after she falls from an exercise bike and hits her head, she becomes deluded with the idea that her appearance has magically changed. To everyone else, she looks the same, but Renee's confidence has skyrocketed as she begins taking on tasks she never imagined possible. She works toward climbing the ranks at the cosmetic company she works for, is self assured that men want her at all times of the day and she enters a bikini contest, dance performance included! Renee's belief that she is beautiful is heartwarming, but what will she think when the magic "spell" lifts and she sees herself as average once more? "I Feel Pretty," in theaters April 20, 2018, is rated PG-13.
