Doritos 2011 Super Bowl Commercial, House Sitting

A man leaves his roommate in charge of feeding his fish and watering his plant while he’s away. However, the roommate spends the entire time eating Doritos on the couch and watching TV. When the day comes for his roommate to return, the house sitter panics as he sees that both the fish and plant have died. In a last-ditch effort, he sprinkles Doritos crumbs into the bowl and the pot, and this miraculously resurrects both lifeforms. Relieved, the roommate then cleans up the mess he made in the apartment but in the process knocks over an urn containing the ashes of his friend’s grandfather. But with the help of a few more Doritos crumbs, the deceased grandfather comes springing back to life. When the roommate who was away returns, he is stunned to see his grandfather alive, hugs him and starts to sob. This commercial aired during Super Bowl XLV on Feb. 6, 2011.
