About Tide TV Commercial, 'Nick Offerman, Peyton Manning and Kenan Thompson Put the Laundry Night Debate to Bed'

While doing his grocery shopping, Kenan Thompson picks up a bottle of Tide Pods Ultra OXI from a display, using the opportunity to vandalize a Peyton Manning cut out. He mutters insults under his breath as he draws a mustache and missing tooth on Peyton when the former quarterback himself turns the corner. Peyton greets Kenan with disdain and signs Kenan's Tide with a snide, "Comedy is hard." This sets off the SNL star, who attacks the cutout with karate moves and his cart until Nick Offerman, ever the voice of reason, reminds them that people enjoy doing laundry during the football games because it lets them feel like they're doing something when, in fact, they're not. Even further, Nick says that letting people do chores while they're watching shows gives both Kenan and Peyton the attention they so blatantly crave. Peyton and Kenan both change their tune and encourage viewers to do their laundry during their shows.
