Women who show emotion in sports have struggled with being called things like "dramatic," "hysterical" and "delusional." Seeing women succeed in these sports draws criticism of their bodies or personalities, and negative emotions often results in backlash from spectators. But, Nike recognizes that the idea of a woman running a marathon, boxing and playing football were also "crazy" ideas that led to women discovering their talents and excelling in sports. So, if someone wants to call you crazy for dreaming of becoming an athlete, that's fine. Nike wants you to show them what crazy can do.
