While trying to get his daughter to eat, a father uses the age-old trick every parent knows of pretending the spoon is an airplane. When she still refuses, the father drops the spoon back in the bowl and simulates an explosion with his hands. Suddenly, years and years have passed, and now the daughter is an adult trying to get her elderly father to eat the same bowl of soup. When he refuses, she reminds him of the same game they used to play when she was young, which makes them both laugh. AARP says roles change without us even noticing and offers information for how to provide care for your parents in their old age.
