His morning starts with an arrow rousing him, but it's just another day on the battlefield for this fire-wielding wizard with a sweet updo. He gives himself a pep talk and heads out to battle for the day.

iSpot Review — October 31, 2014

Character. Clash of Clans burst onto the scene with a creative campaign built around colorful characters on the battlefield. It was an online smash.

The brand moves the campaign forward with fresh creative centered on a new character in the game. The Wizard makes his saucy debut.

The creative is cleverly immersed in the established, imagined, playable world. We literally watch the new wizard awake to a new day of battle raging outside his window. Personality oozes in this spot. Preening himself in the mirror and psyching himself up for action, the Wizard is clearly confident and vain.

Vibrant voice acting and accent work cap off the exceptional action. Hog Rider, along with other characters, are already distinctively voiced, so the team had to be sure vocal work added to the creative world and felt at home with the existing character voices. The Wizard fits in well with these odd characters.

It is only a teaser of more time with the Wizard in additional ads, but this commercial sets the stage nicely for viewers to welcome a new playmate into the Clash of Clans world.
