Based on the Japanese film, "Midnight Sun" tells the story of 17-year-old Katie Price who is confined indoors during daylight hours due to XP, a rare genetic condition that makes even the smallest amount of sun deadly. Katie doesn't take nighttime for granted, spending the dark hours playing her guitar around town. She is delighted one particular night when Charlie, her longtime crush, strikes up a conversation and asks her out. After spending time together night after night, the love between the young couple grows, and Katie is left wondering whether or not she can lead a normal life with her newfound companion. "Midnight Sun," in theaters March 23, 2018, is rated PG-13.
