Land Rover introduces the Defender, which it says is perfect for everyday trips -- even if those trips happen to take you on a trek across the savanna. The Defender is also great for dropping into a "car wash" by driving through a muddy desert river, or lending a hand to fellow drivers whose truck, twice the Defender's size, has gotten stuck in a ditch.
