The Sumida Hokusai Museum chief curator Atsuko Okuda explains that the art institution is collaborating with Fujifilm to capture its collection "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" in high-resolution digital photographs. Toppan chief photographer Hirotsugu reflects that taking these photographs increases the ways in which we can enjoy art and allows those not present in person to experience the artwork in all of its richness.
