Rob Silverman and his wife had a baby boy named Matthew Silverman on January 15, 1988. Matthew was the center of their attention and a remarkable young man, but he did not open up to his parents about the depths of his depression. He took his life in 2006 and this tragedy incentivized his parents to start a foundation to help save lives and address suicide. He encourages you to learn more at its website and to call the National Suicide Lifeline if you need help.
