A guy is walking down the street when his phone buzzes. He looks at the screen—she's breaking up with him. Before he can process it, a group of runners passes by. He watches for a second, then follows. Running becomes a routine. He begins pushing himself on his Peloton treadmill and working out with weights. On a run one day, he sees a dog for adoption, and he decides to give the dog a new home and also give himself a new running buddy.
