Sarah Jennings from AARP warns viewers that imposter scams can take on many forms, including impersonating utility workers. She offers some red flags to look out for concerning utility scams such as random free inspection offers, calls stating that you overpaid your bill and threats to shut off your utilities. If you experience any of these situations, she advises that you call or email your utility company and let them know.
