About Planters Super Bowl 2019 TV Commercial, 'Mr. Peanut Is Always There in Crunch Time' Ft. Alex Rodriguez, Charlie Sheen

During Super Bowl LIII, crunch time can drive people a little nuts. In the case of Mr. Peanut, he pilots the speeding Planters van through a construction zone and sends it flying off a trailer ramp without letting it slow him down. Actor Charlie Sheen notices the legume-laden vehicle nail the landing and remarks to his bench mate, "And people think I'M nuts." Finally, the monocled mascot arrives at his destination: a viewing party where baseball legend Alex Rodriguez is about to reluctantly eat a kale chip. In the nick of time, the green treats are replaced by a can of Planters Mixed Nuts, and Rodriguez gives his snack savior a grateful thumbs-up. "Go get 'em, nut man!" shouts a supportive neighbor.
