A woman at a diner orders a Coke, but her request is met with a familiar refrain from the waiter: "Is Pepsi OK?" Hearing this exchange from the adjacent booth, Steve Carell interjects himself into the soda brand's Super Bowl LIII spot to say a few things about it. "Are puppies OK?" the actor inquires. What about a shooting star, or the laughter of a small child? Carell insists that Pepsi's far more than OK, and he's backed up by his famous friends Lil Jon (who belts out his catchphrase "Okayy!" from behind the counter) and Cardi B (who chimes in with her own signature "Okurrr!"). The "I Like It" artist struts in through the front entrance, snatches a bedazzled can of Pepsi from the counter and seats herself at the booth. As Cardi taps the can with her long, on-brand nails, Carell confirms that both the waiter and customer have learned that they want a Pepsi. Now, all he needs to do is get an OK catchphrase of his own.
