"Gods of Egypt," directed by Alex Proyas, tells a story derived from the classic mythology of Egypt. When Set, the god of darkness played by Gerard Butler, usurps the throne of the Egyptian empire, the region is brought into chaos. In response, mortal hero Bek (Brenton Thwaites) aligns with Horus ("Game of Thrones" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in order to save the world, through obstacles like fighting giant monsters, and rescue his true love. "Gods of Egypt," in theaters Feb. 26, 2016, is rated PG-13.
