During the 1812 French invasion of Russia, a soldier runs back to his commander's campsite and informs him that Napoleon's army has forced the Russian troops to surrender before collapsing onto the ground. The commander reacts with shock and hears laughter coming from off-screen. A man is sitting on a recliner at the other end of the campsite live tweeting the invasion from his phone. He is cackling with admiration at France's ambitious military assault and makes mocking gestures at the Russian military officers. A narrator says that, just as people who witness history tweet about it, people who want to save money on car insurance switch to GEICO. The man takes a selfie with the two Russian officers and posts it with #EpicFail. The miniseries "War & Peace" is airing on History Channel, Lifetime and A&E.
