IBM's Watson has some words for Sir Ridley Scott, director of famous science fiction films such as "Alien," "Blade Runner" and "The Martian." Propped on a table, Watson says it's awkward but he wants Scott to know that his portrayal of artificial intelligence has not always been very flattering. In reality, Watson says, he works with people to fight pollution, detect fraud and prevent waste. Scott replies that he is sometimes skeptical of artificial intelligence, but movies are hypothetical and it's up to all of us in reality. So long as Watson doesn't go rogue, everything should be fine.
