A man passes though the eerie space of a shopping mall in which everything is bacon-themed. As he heads up an escalator, he sees a bacon couture store, a banner for a film titled "Baconado," a group of women carrying bacon shopping bags and taking selfies while wearing bacon shades, a shoe called the Bacon One, a tattoo parlor called O-Ink and a beautiful woman presenting Bacologne, the hottest fragrance yet. When the man finally reaches the top of the escalator and sees a Taco Bell, he breathes a huge sigh of relief. Try the Bacon Club Chalupa at Taco Bell, where you'll find bacon you can actually eat.

iSpot Review - July 29, 2015

Bacon is in nearly everything these days. And if there isn't some bacon variant of whatever product or food item out there on the market currently, there's a chance there will be one in the future. Taco Bell released this 30-second ad to show off their latest edible creation, the Bacon Club Chalupa. What better way to market your bacon creation with a bombardment of more bacon.

A man rides an escalator up through a shopping mall as we hear a synthesizer and Halsey's velvety voice singing a cover of "Mad World", originally performed by Tears for Fears. He is bombarded by bacon inspired products and advertisements, but they serve no purpose other than being part of the bacon mania craze. When he gets to the top and sees the Taco Bell, he is relieved by the sight. The narrator makes it clear when he tells us, "Bacon you can't eat, is bacon you don't need." This drives home the idea that bacon inspired products flooding the market serves no purpose if you can't eat it.
