Nickelodeon stars Dana Heath and Terrence Little Gardenhigh are gaming in their dressing room when Dana accidentally throws Terrence's hat inside a Mario warp pipe. The two travel through to search for it and end up in an underground Mario gaming club and start to play games instead of going back for the show. Without his lucky gaming hat, Terrence loses the game but chases after the player who took his hat. The player challenges Terrence to beat Bowser in Super Mario 3D World and he wins to earn his hat back, just in time for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Nintendo Switch says it is a proud sponsor of Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
