When driving at night, many drivers have driven past another driver with their high beams on. Even though you flash your lights at them, they continue like nothing is amiss. To prevent being blinded by high beams, the NHTSA introduces Automatic High Beams. A vehicle will be able to detect the traffic around it and automatically switch off the high beams so other drivers aren't affected. The administration invites drivers to visit its website for more new car safety technologies.
