In the wake of World War II, nine-year-olds Martin and violin prodigy Dovidl become like brothers throughout their childhood. But hours before Dovidl's debut violin performance at the age of 21, he disappears without a trace, causing shame and ruin over Martin and his family. Forty years later, Martin begins finding clues as to what happened to Dovidl, triggering a journey overseas in search of his lost best friend. "A Song of Names," in theaters Dec. 25, 2019, is rated PG-13.
