About Tolkien TV Movie Trailer
Before he became one of the most formative and beloved fantasy writers of all time, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was an eccentric young storyteller who was orphaned at an early age. After he falls in with a group of fellow outcasts at school, the outbreak of World War I and the looming tragedies of the 20th century threaten to break his newly formed fellowship apart and inspire Tolkien to dream up the fictional world of Middle Earth. "Tolkien," based on the life of the author of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings," hits theaters May 10, 2019 and is rated PG-13.
