In the early 1960s, ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev (Oleg Ivenko) quickly rises to prominence as the most celebrated performer in Russian theater. During his company's first postwar exhibition in the West, however, Nureyev makes a bold decision to defect from the Soviet Union for France. This sets off an equally dramatic reaction from the KGB, which is committed to reclaiming Nureyev and avoiding an international scandal. Based on the true story of one of the greatest dancers of all time, and directed by Ralph Fiennes, "The White Crow" hits theaters April 26, 2019.
