About Mountain Dew Kickstart Super Bowl 2016 TV Commercial, 'Puppymonkeybaby'

Mountain Dew presents its very unique definition of three awesome things combined in time for Super Bowl 50: a "puppymonkeybaby." Three friends who planned to just chill on the couch for the night get quite an unexpected surprise. An actual puppymonkeybaby -- a creature with the legs of a baby, the tail of a monkey and the head of a puppy -- marches in with a bucket of Mountain Dew Kickstart and dances to its own catchy song. Oh, and don't forget its rattle... and the licking.

iSpot Review — February 7, 2016

Mountain Dew dominated Super Bowl winning 1st place for the top performing commercial on game-day with its weirdly unmistakeable "Puppymonkeybaby" ad. Even with so many ads, this unique spot captured over 11% of the big game's Digital Share of Voice, generating over 334k social actions and a total social volume of over 527mm impressions and more than 2.25mm organic video views on game day.
