iSpot Review — November 7, 2014

Jeff Goldblum always seems to be having so much fun when he's acting. There's a frequent smirk that makes us all think he's just behind the thin actor's mask and laughing with us at his characters.

General Electric has a lot to say and needs a lot of time to say it. Who better to keep our attention for all that information than Jeff Goldblum playing a celebrity who reeks of creepy self-grandeur, but is not Jeff Goldblum (wink, wink)?

Jeff Goldblum is one of the few actors who sounds as if everything he is saying, no matter how ridiculous, is of the utmost importance and intelligence. What else can we do, but pay attention?

The creative itself is surreal and long, but it's meant to keep the audience coming along for the ride, so all the information about General Electric's new GE Link Light Bulb and Wink Hub gets covered.

And it works! We can't help but watch to see what new, strange situation Jeff will put himself into, and we can't help but listen to hear what new, strange soliloquy he will put out into the world.

Before we know it, we've learned more about next-generation lighting than we expected.
