This year Business Insider veered away from highlighting pre-IPO companies generating the most buzz, opting to evaluate public and private firms. This resulted in a list that includes both big name billion-dollar companies along with smaller scale startups, delivering revenue amounts in the million-dollar range. Noticeably missing from the list are the big three – Facebook, Google, and Amazon. However, as Business Insider notes of this absence, all three companies are connected to each of the 19 companies highlighted, in some way, “whether it’s with its data, power, or potential to disrupt an industry.”
Business Insider’s methodology simply reflects a competitive and growing group of advertising-tech and marketing-tech organizations that the publication is actively keeping an eye on.
iSpot.tv is proud to once again be named to this list. We are in great company!
