Immigration / Work Authorization Notice: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. iSpot is not able to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

iSpot competes for the best talent. Our compensation packages consist of salary and equity in one of Seattle’s hottest start-ups, as well as other standard benefits. Most importantly, we provide a really interesting working experience, and the chance to contribute to the success of something great.

What You’ll Be Part Of:

iSpot is the market leader in real-time TV ad measurement, providing the most comprehensive and actionable data to the advertising industry's top brands, agencies, and media companies. As the walled gardens tighten and privacy-safe data access becomes the price of entry for major platform partnerships, our ability to execute best-in-class data clean room integrations is one of the most important capabilities we can build.

This is an important, highly technical product role at iSpot. You will provide product leadership for major platform integrations requiring data clean room architectures — including partnerships with platforms like YouTube and TikTok — evaluating and drafting the architecture for complex, multi-party clean rooms and identity resolution approaches that connect Audience and Outcomes data.
You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and BD to translate ambitious partnership goals into technical designs that actually ship, resolving systemic API and data-ingest issues that span multiple product lines and major customers. You'll author the strategic vision and roadmap for this area of the portfolio and drive its commercialization as part of a product line representing significant ARR.

This is a Product Management leadership role for someone who wants to shape how iSpot's products architecture evolves to meet the next generation of privacy-safe measurement, while mentoring other PMs in the technical craft of the discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean Room Architecture: Evaluate and draft the technical architecture for complex, multi-party data clean room integrations (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) and related identity resolution approaches connecting Audience and Outcomes data.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Resolve systemic data-ingest issues that impact multiple product lines or major customers, bridging technical and non-technical perspectives to keep solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to guide product development for clean room integrations, setting technical direction and standards for how iSpot builds and maintains these partnerships.
  • Roadmap Authorship & Commercialization: Author the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform integrations product area, driving commercialization of a product line representing significant ARR growth.
  • AI Partnership: Partner with Data Science to influence architecture standards that reduce latency and increase model quality for identity resolution and clean room data processing, adopting AI product development standards and tools to increase team efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Orchestrate efforts across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, BD and Commercial to implement sophisticated clean room solutions that scale adoption, ensuring cohesive execution aligned with broader business goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a chief spokesperson for clean room product initiatives, expertly communicating complex ad tech and data-privacy concepts to senior leadership and external platform partners.
  • Mentorship: Mentor Product Managers in the technical aspects of clean room and identity-resolution product work, cultivating a culture of technical expertise and innovation within the product team.
  • Industry Standards & Innovation: Set new standards for transparency, performance, and user experience in privacy-safe data integrations, staying ahead of AI-driven shifts in audience and outcomes measurement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of technical, data, or platform products.
  • Direct experience evaluating or designing architecture for data clean rooms, identity resolution, or comparably complex, privacy-sensitive, multi-party data integrations.
  • Strong technical fluency in APIs and data pipelines, with a track record of resolving complex, cross-product technical issues in close partnership with Engineering.
  • Experience authoring product strategy and roadmaps, and securing executive (VP-level) buy-in for resourcing during planning cycles.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven approaches to identity resolution or data matching, and experience adopting AI tools to improve product development efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience translating technical concepts for both internal stakeholders and external platform partners.
  • Experience mentoring other product managers in technical product management practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.

You’ll join a high‑impact engineering organization building scalable, shareable technologies that power multiple product teams. As a full‑stack engineer with a strong affinity for front‑end development, you’ll shape user experiences, define UI architecture, and build reusable components that accelerate development across the company. Your work will influence product direction, elevate engineering productivity, and help define the next generation of platform and UI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement extensible, shareable full‑stack features across multiple engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on front‑end architecture and user experience.
  • Build high‑quality UI components and front‑end systems using modern frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Serve as a go‑to technical expert for front‑end patterns, performance, accessibility, and best practices.
  • Review code with prescriptive, actionable feedback; contribute to coding standards and UI/UX guidelines.
  • Drive improvements to automation systems and testing frameworks, including front‑end testing strategies.
  • Explore and evaluate AI technologies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Create space for teammates to adopt AI tooling through pairing, demos, and documentation.
  • Lead research into external technologies (front‑end and full‑stack) and propose adoption strategies.
  • Own on‑call responsibilities, create and update runbooks/SOPs, and coach others on incident investigation.
  • Author, review, and approve requirements and technical designs for multiple projects.
  • Work cross‑functionally to align partners and stakeholders to project vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers in communication, design, UI engineering, and execution.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, tailoring messaging to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Extensive experience developing full‑stack software, including shareable front‑end and platform components.
  • Deep expertise in front‑end engineering using modern frameworks such as **React**, plus strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, and UI performance.
  • Strong understanding of test automation systems, maintainable test patterns, and quality‑driven engineering (including front‑end testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience authoring and reviewing technical designs for complex, multi‑team projects.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver high‑impact engineering work.

Preferred Skills:

Frontend Development

  • Core Languages: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Frameworks/Libraries: React
  • Design Principles: Responsive web design and mobile-first development.

Backend Development

  • Languages & Environments: Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
  • API Architecture: RESTful APIs (standard) and GraphQL (modern alternative).
  • Server Logic: Authentication (JWT/OAuth), authorization, and middleware.

Database Management

  • Relational (SQL): PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server for structured data.
  • Non-Relational (NoSQL): Redis for caching.
  • Querying: Proficiency in writing SQL queries and utilizing ORMs (like Prisma or Sequelize).

Additional Notes:

This role is ideal for engineers who love full‑stack work but feel especially energized by front‑end engineering, user experience, and building UI systems that scale across teams. Senior SDEs in this domain are expected to lead by example, elevate engineering quality, and drive innovation across both the front‑end and back‑end.
