What You’ll Be Part Of:

The Events Specialist is part of the iSpot Field Marketing team, which is responsible for activating the iSpotbrand and driving client engagement at all kinds of industry and company events, whether owned, sponsored, live, or virtual. The Field Marketing team creates opportunities for the iSpot sales teams to engage with their prospects and clients throughout the TV and video advertising industry. That includes brands, agencies, media companies, broadcasters, and companies across the broader media ecosystem.

We are seeking an Event Marketing Specialist with strong project management skills and event planning experience. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented and has a passion for event marketing, ranging from detailed planning and logistics to on-site activation. The candidate must have the ability to manage complex projects and be assertive with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines, with a customer-focused ‘can do attitude’. Must also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of event-based lead generation programs, which include regional and national tradeshows and hosted events
  • Plan, coordinate and execute on event-related logistics, for both owned and sponsored events, including company events, on time and within budget
  • Responsible for post-event recap emails and reporting on success metrics
  • Purchase and maintain SWAG / gift inventory, including vendor management
  • Research and secure event venues
  • Manage event contracts with vendors and partners
  • Attend trade shows and events as needed
  • Track and manage marketing program activities, presentations, budgets and invoices, ensuring events are produced on budget
  • Coordinate quarterly direct mail campaigns, working with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met and direct mail items ship on time and within budget
  • Work in Salesforce.com to build direct mail and event reports and campaigns

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of project and event management experience in a B2B environment, technology software industry preferred
  • Incredible attention to detail and extremely sharp organization skills
  • Clear and direct communication skills
  • The ability to shift priorities easily and be self-motivated and proactive
  • Analytical aptitude, outstanding team player and cross-group alignment capability
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce.com, ability to pull custom reports, or aptitude to learn new software quickly
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Google Docs to help track budgets and project plans
  • Bachelor’s Degree with marketing or business preferred
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Copywriting and design experience is a plus!

Additional Notes:

  • This role could require travel ~25% of the time
  • This role will report directly to the VP of Corporate Marketing and will primarily support the Field Marketing team.

Target cash compensation range: $71,000-80,000 USD Annually

We are committed to providing competitive, market-informed compensation. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot’s equity plan to receive stock options. Non-exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre-approved) overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are influenced by different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy

iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency. 

Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA; El Segundo, CA; New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule.
