After a number of years airing commercials in the pre-game slot, McDonald’s will air a 60-second spot during this year’s Super Bowl 2015. The world’s leading fast-food chain is eager to gain as many consumer eyes as possible as it launches a rebranding effort through advertising agency Publicis. All indications point to a completely revamped McDonald’s as it delivers a “more relevant McDonald’s experience for all our customers,” according to CEO Don Thompson. McDonald’s spent over half-a-billion dollars on national TV advertising in 2014.
