Strong creative held viewers\u2019 attention with an average view rate of 88.5%.<\/p>\n<p>In spite of an initial Samsung Note 7 recall on Sept. 2, Samsung Mobile ramped up its investment in TV advertising to coincide with the launch of football season and major events such as the Emmys and MTV VMAs. However, the company tapered off its investment in getting attention for Note 7 in mid-September, instead shifting its emphasis on Samsung Gear VR. Its most seen ads, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/ad\/ACgo\/samsung-galaxy-and-gear-vr-all-the-feels\">\u201cAll the Feels\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/ad\/AG7E\/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-virtual-reality-machine\">\u201cVirtual Reality Machine,\u201d<\/a> each appeared on TV screens more than 500 million times.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position: relative; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%; padding-bottom: 40px;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0; right: 0; left: 0; bottom: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/share\/ACgo\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The brand pulled back on national TV advertising altogether from Oct. 11 to Nov. 8.<\/p>\n<p>When they were airing, Samsung ads did well to keep viewers\u2019 attention.
