{"id":14393,"date":"2022-05-10T10:22:16","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T17:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/hub\/?p=14393"},"modified":"2024-07-26T09:34:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T16:34:48","slug":"currency-news-ispot-partnership-with-twitter-and-nbcu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/hub\/currency-news-ispot-partnership-with-twitter-and-nbcu\/","title":{"rendered":"Currency News: iSpot Partnership with Twitter and NBCU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building on our recent momentum as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispot.tv\/hub\/nbcu-makes-ispot-first-nationally-certified-measurement-partner-commits-to-using-ispot-as-currency-for-upfront-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">preferred currency for NBCUniversal<\/a> in the 2022 Upfronts, we\u2019re excited to expand our currency capabilities to include measurement of incremental audiences for NBCUniversal campaigns that utilize Twitter Amplify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The news, which was first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/twitter-ad-strategies-nbcuniversal-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced by Twitter at the 2022 IAB NewFronts<\/a>, marks another step for brands looking to unify their cross-platform measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What this means at a high level is brands purchasing inventory from NBCU across linear and streaming can now have the unique reach of Twitter campaigns measured alongside their overall investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if a brand wants to sponsor NBC\u2019s <em>The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, and also run branded clips on Twitter, iSpot enables them to understand deduplicated reach between TV and social media, as well as the overlap of those audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to strike a partnership deal with Twitter that helps build a bridge between platforms and have an immediate use case with our shared partners at NBCUniversal,\u201d said Stu Schwartzapfel, SVP of Media Partnerships at iSpot. \u201cAs we look to offer new currencies, this kind of unified measurement gives both advertisers and networks crucial audience insights and trusted verification that helps the marketplace sponsor and transact with confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can read more about how this measurement innovation fits into a larger strategy between NBCUniversal and Twitter <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/twitter-ad-strategies-nbcuniversal-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.
