A bartender interrupts a conversation among friends because someone has left a letter for Mr. Fernandez. As he reads the letter, Mr. Fernandez becomes increasingly concerned due to the troublesome nature of its contents. It sounds like one of their friends has made a commitment up on stage that could be fatal and he wants his last affairs to be in order so he asks someone to pick up his tab if he doesn't survive this karaoke song. But Mr. Fernandez does something better -- he orders a couple of Bud Lights and makes sacrifices his own dignity to join his friend on stage.
