Carnival calls into question what we have always been told: that mealtime is for nourishment. That good manners mean keeping your elbows in at the dinner table and a napkin on your lap. On Carnival cruises, mealtime is different. As a family is enjoying their meal, people throughout the dining room suddenly break out in dance to the song "Let the Music Play" by Shannon. The dad stands up to join the waiter in showing off his dance moves, embarrassing his daughter, but eventually the whole family (including grandma) joins in. Carnival welcomes you aboard, stating: "Here's to being you."
