A United States Army veteran thinks back on his time serving the country as he runs around New York City wearing ASICS. We see him run by a memorial as he explains that he always runs with his brothers. They ran as a unit and if anyone fell behind they would be picked up -- They called the fight within yourself "the push." The runner reaches a gym where he approaches a man with a prosthetic leg on a treadmill. The man greets him by asking how the push went.
