The case has gone cold and the latest lead turned out to be a dead end. All seems hopeless for these police detectives until McGruff the Crime Dog shows up with information from a tip that could crack the case wide open. But, as McGruff begins to explain the credibility of the fingerprints at the crime scene, he discovers his fellow associates can't take him seriously and use the same voice they would use on a baby. This baby talk eventually frustrates McGruff who ultimately ends up leaving after realizing none of his colleagues will take him seriously. GEICO claims that as long as people talk to dogs like they talk to babies, people can be sure the company is still saving them money on their auto insurance.
